How does the AI drawing registration work?

When you upload drawings (PDF, PNG, or JPG), the AI reads the title block and extracts the drawing number, title, revision, discipline, scale, and originator. You review the extracted data, make any corrections, and publish to your register. Fifty drawings can be registered in about five minutes.

Can I track drawing revisions automatically?

Yes. When you upload a new revision, the system detects that a drawing with the same number already exists and creates a supersession record. The previous revision is marked as superseded and the new one becomes current. The full revision history is always accessible.

How does the programme AI work?

Tell the agent your project type and it generates a complete work breakdown structure — hierarchy, dependencies, milestones, cost codes — in one call. Once the programme is live, the agent acts as your planning co-pilot: find delayed tasks, calculate the critical path, run what-if analyses, or check health status. Read-only analysis is available from the main AI chat; write tools are only in the embedded Programme panel.

How do specifications power the AI?

On upload, your specifications are processed by OCR, then chunked, embedded, and stored in your database. Every clause, requirement, and performance standard becomes searchable by meaning — not just keywords. This knowledge layer powers the AI across the platform: scope of works generation, project queries, and drawing analysis all draw on your spec documents.

What happens to a drawing supplied as a DWG?

Attach the DWG to the sheet and the geometry is read server-side: layers become a legend, rooms become named spaces, and measurements come from the vectors rather than a scaled PDF. The PDF stays the picture; the DWG supplies the numbers.

Can I export documents for external parties?

Yes. Drawings can be exported with markup annotations as flattened PDFs. RFIs, correspondence, and submittals export as documents on your letterhead. Drawing registers export to Excel. Everything is designed to be shared with consultants, subcontractors, and the project team.

A-2301 rev C omits the feature ceiling at reception but the door schedule rev B still carries the ceiling-mounted closers. Please confirm the omission is instructed before we frame the bulkhead on Monday 24 August.

Confirmed — the feature ceiling is omitted under AI-023. Proceed with the plasterboard bulkhead to detail A-2104/07. The door schedule will be corrected at rev C.

Raise it from the drawing you are looking at, with the clause and the markup attached. It reads as the receiver will read it, on your letterhead, and the reply lands on the same page.
